The Legends

I watched Barathi (Tamil) movie last weekend. I am very much impressed with the way Barathi carried himself and the amount of self confidence he had. But I also noticed that he failed miserably in his family life.
I watched Kamarajar movie on independence day and got the same thought. He didn't get married...Didn't see his mom often...Hence he also belonged to the same category according to me...
That brings in the question of family life of ppl who succeeded in professional life.
I guess lot many ppl who won the hearts of many,contributed to their field,loved and admired as legends failed miserably in their family life. I dont want to argue with examples because there will be always a counter exception.
I guess this is because only ppl who breath what they doing are reaching the unprecedented heights of their carrier....and in that process they are forgetting about their life, beauties of the world and so many other good things in the life...
They are very much eccentric and live in a different world and doesn't seem to care anything about the day to day life. They are thinking only about what they want to acheive, means to acheive it...
To summarize, these legends are of the opinion that they are here,in this world,for something, to change something, to make it a better world and acheiving those is the only thing in their life.
All these are my thoughts...What do you ppl feel abt this eccentric nature of legends?
